Here is important information Drive and Shine wants you to have as well as some of our most asked questions.
Do you offer Certificates for an insurance discount?
When a student has completed a plan of at least 6 hours with us, they can request a certificate from Drive and Shine to present to their car insurance policyholder. (We cannot guarantee that your insurance will honor the certificate, though most do). To request a certificate, please call or text us at 386.264.3996.

What is your Lesson Policy?
Parent/legal guardian MUST be present at the start of the first lesson to sign the paperwork if the student is under the age of 18.
Students must be on time for one-on-one driving lessons. If a student is unable to attend a scheduled driving lesson Monday through Friday, they must notify Drive and Shine by calling 386-264-3996 no later than 24 hours before the scheduled lesson’s start time. If your lesson is scheduled on the weekend, the student must notify Drive and Shine no later than 5:00PM on Thursday. This will avoid forfeiture of the lesson and any fees paid. If a student fails to cancel according to policy, there will be two options. One: you forfeit the lesson or Two: you may reschedule, but will incur a rescheduling fee of $70. Charges are non-refundable.
Disruptive behavior or misconduct will not be tolerated. Drive and Shine prohibits the possession, consumption, or use of any alcoholic beverages and/or illegal drugs.

In the event of sickness and/or hospitalization, the student must present a doctor's statement written on the physician’s letterhead confirming the illness.
Children or guests will not be permitted to ride with the student during driving sessions.
Students must bring their Learner’s License with them for scheduled driving lessons. It will be checked and documented before beginning the lesson.
Can I really purchase lessons directly from your site?
Yes! In fact, this is our preferred method. Click on the "Driving Lessons" tab to learn more about our packages. When you have found the perfect plan for you, you can click the tab "Click Here" located under the price. Or you can go to the "Plans and Pricing" Tab to see a side-by-side comparison of the plans and when you are ready, click the "Select" button under the plan you want.
What happens after I select my plan?
You will be brought to a sign-up/log-in page. Follow the prompts to create an account with us and purchase your plan. Then you will want to schedule all of your lessons included with your plan.
How do I schedule lessons?
Make sure to schedule your lessons on our website.
1). Make sure you are signed into your account.
2). Select a staff member, if you wish, from the drop-down menu.
3). Then choose a date and time on the calendar.
4). Click next.
5). Fill in all fields (for address, please use the address we will be picking you up at. If the drop-off address at the end of the lesson will differ, please provide the location in the message box (both locations must be in Flagler County). You can also include anything else you'd like us to know.
6). Confirm the details and click "book now" if you are only wanting to schedule 1 lesson. If you'd like to schedule more lessons, click add to cart. Then repeat these steps, starting at step #2, as many times as needed.

*Important to note: When you Book Now, it will take you to a checkout. Some customers fear that they will be charged again, but you will see that your total cost is $0. Every time you schedule a lesson, you are using one of your already purchased lesson credits from the package you ordered.
Help! I logged out/didn't book all of my sessions directly after I purchased a plan. How can I get back in to schedule my remaining lesson(s)?

1). Log into your account (on a desktop, the log-in icon is in the upper left-hand corner. On your phone, it is the menu bar that looks like 3 dashes on top of each other).
2). Click the "My Subscriptions" tab to see how many lesson sessions you have remaining.
3). Click the tab "Book Online."
4). Click the purple "Book Now" button.
5). Follow steps #2-#6 above.

What if the student driver cannot do 2-hour long lessons?
Please call us at 386-264-3996 and we will help you get scheduled.

Can I book my lessons close together/far apart?

If the calendar has an opening, the lesson is available to you! Please keep an eye on your expiration date. Our recommendation is to keep it to no more than 2 lessons in a week and/or at least 48 hours between each lesson.
