Drive and Shine is thrilled to have partnered with the American Safety Institute to offer students the ability to get their permit ONLINE in the comfort of your home.  Save money! We offer packages that include the DATA course, Permit Practice Test, and Permit Test

Complete these 2 state requirements before starting your driving lessons

Requirement #1: Drug and Alcohol Course

  • ​Step 1 in getting your Learner's Permit.

​

  • Never had a Driver's License? All first-time drivers in the State of Florida are required to take the 4-hour Drug Alcohol Traffic Awareness (DATA) course before applying for their permit.

​

  • We offer this test ONLINE. Take this course in the comfort of your own home.  

​

  • Save money! We offer packages that include the DATA course, Permit Practice Test, and Permit Test (see info below)

Requirement #2: Permit

 
  • The online permit test can only be taken by first time drivers between the ages of 14-17.
 
  • Over 18? Contact your local DMV to take the permit test

  • We also offer a "Permit Prep Test."
